1.3% Consumer Price Index Decline

According to the national statistics service, the consumer price index fell by 1.3% in June compared with May, including food - by 2.5%, manufactured goods and services by 0.1% and 0.4% respectively.

The decline in the cost of potatoes and vegetables by 26.7% influenced the market of food.

Prices of some commodities have gone up. Compared with June of last year, prices of alcoholic beverages grew by 4.6%, as compared with May of this year by 2.2%. Prices of grain products grew by 0.5%. Price of rice rose by 1%, peas 1.1%, white flour 2.3%. Compared to June last year, the price of meat rose by 8.1%, as compared with May of this year by 0.5%.
