Little Armenian Singers Invited to Japan

The Little Armenian Singers choir has received an invitation for an extended tour in Japan. The tour will take place from the 7th of July until the 12th of August. This tour will have a significant importance for the Armenian culture. The choir will have 16 concerts in many cities of Japan and meetings with famous cultural personalities, prominent artists and with the Japanese youth.

The purpose of the tour is to establish ties of friendship between the Japanese and Armenian nations, to present the rich Armenian culture, as well as works by world-known composers.

The Little Singers of Armenia choir will also perform two works by two contemporary composers, the winners of the international choral composition competition for children's choir announced by Tigran Hekekyan and the Little Armenian Singers International Association. The winners will be announced in June, 2012.
