According to Interfax, in Sverdlovsk, Russia the police prevented a clash between Armenian and Uzbek people.
70 people were involved in the incident, the organizers and 18 activists have been detained. It was found out that 50-60 people had to join the group from Chelyabinsk and Kurgan. The participants were armed with metal rods, gasoline bottles, traumatic, gas weapons and firearms.
According to the police, the conflict started on April 29 when Armenian and Uzbek people quarreled in a café. On the next day, some people assaulted two Uzbek people who were hospitalized. Later, on June 4, an Armenian with a gun wound was also hospitalized.
