The dialogue on the Karabakh issue did not report serious progress, the Russian minister of foreign affairs Sergey Lavrov said during a press conference in Vienna.
Lavrov underscored direct dialogue between the conflict sides in the process of Karabakh settlement. “Unfortunately, for the time being there is no serious progress but the positive fact is that this year there was a dialogue at the level of presidents and multiple times at the level of the foreign ministers. We will continue to work in line with the collective approaches of Russia, the United States and France. We have reaffirmed this during the meeting. These are the principles of settlement that the sides accepted but did not undertake practical steps,” Lavrov said.
