The president of the Senate of the Czech Republic Milan Stech stated in a press conference in the Armenian parliament that Czech has not sold ammunition to Azerbaijan.
“I would like to talk about a very sensitive issue. I am sure that the Armenian media have also wrote about this that Czech weapons have appeared in Azerbaijan. I would like to assure you that he Czech Republic has not sold weapons to Azerbaijan. Czech respects the embargo on such dangerous countries. We do not understand how the Czech weapons have reached Azerbaijan but I assure that the Czech authorities and government have not given their consent to that,” Milan Stech said.
Coming back to the settlement of the Artsakh issue, he said he supports one option – a peace settlement mediated by the Minsk Group. “Such great powers as the United States, Russia and France must be able to achieve a peaceful and fair solution,” he added.
