Azerbaijan Demands Extradition of Four Turkish Citizens Who Visited Artsakh

The act of the Turkish writer Seit Cetinoglu, the politician Ufuk Urasi, journalists Ali Bayramoglu and Erol Katircioglu visited Artsakh via the territory of Armenia is betrayal of not only brotherly Azerbaijan but also Turkey, the Azerbaijani MP Aydin Huseynov announced, armtimes.com informed.

Huseynov held out hope that Turkey will extradite them to Baku shortly. “Their step is not comprehensible, Turkey and Azerbaijan are brothers. I am sure they will soon extradite them to Azerbaijan”.

Earlier it became known that Azerbaijan is investigating the visit of the four Turks to Artsakh.

The Prosecutor General’s Office has warranted the arrest of the Turkish citizens, writer Seit Cetinoglu, the politician Ufuk Urasi, journalists Ali Bayramoglu and Erol Katircioglu, and has submitted a request to the Turkish law enforcement agencies.

The four Turkish citizens who visited Artsakh via Armenia on September 22 the are accused of illegally crossing the state border of Azerbaijan. International wanted person notice has been issued.
