Russia Is Changing Policy On Armenians

    • Politics - Monday, 11 June 2012, 10:38

Skirmishes between the Dagestani and Armenians in the region of Sochi were reasoned by the blatant behavior of the Dagestani men. Similar incidents happened in the region of Ural. Such policy was suggested by the demolition of the statue of Andranik Ozanyan in Lazarevski region.

Now, there is confidence that Moscow has decided to repress the Armenian population of Russia – as a reaction to the Armenian foreign political course. It is only left to provide the audio recordings of the talks and the correspondence of FSS on this issue.

It was understood because the Armenian civil organizations, first of all, the Union of Armenians of Russia has done a lot for disorganization of the communities and first of all in the region of Krasnodar. It is widely known that in Krasnodar region there is outrageous discrimination towards the Armenians which is an undoubted part of the state policies.

It is necessary to recall once again Zhirinovski’s words: “A civil war is unfolded in Russia and people need to be armed”. If the Armenians of Russia want to survive in that country, they need to understand that they should be armed to resist to any attempt of crimes against them.

Armenians and some other national minorities in Russia are integrated with the social-political life in Russia as “ethnic communities” and hence they are responsible for the behavior of separate groups of Armenians, it is impossible otherwise, since this is the political and public culture of the country. For example the U.S. Armenians, like all the other members of ethnic minorities, are responsible before the state only as individuals, citizens and not as Armenians or other communities.
