Levon Zurabyan: Revolution Entered Crucial Phase

    • Politics - Friday, 04 May 2012, 10:23

During May 3 rally of the Armenian National Congress, ANC coordinator Levon Zurabyan said two realities have formed during the campaign: first, the issue on raising the nation, inspiring hope and trust has been solved. People have woken up and are ready to challenge Serzh Sargsyan’s regime and the revolution which started in 2008 has entered the crucial phase.

Zurabyan noted that the approach “Not a single vote to the regime” succeeded and the regime remained with no votes.

Third, according to Zurabyan, the joint inter-party election monitoring headquarters composed of the ARFD, PAP and Congress has been created for the first time in Armenia the aim of which is to reveal fraud by the Republican Party.

Levon Zurabyan says that not only the Congress but also the ARFD and PAP are filled with determination. He added that they have an agreement with Armen Rustamyan, ARFD, to hold a session of the joint headquarters to decide the steps to be taken on May 6.

Zurabyan noted that this is a spiritual revolution, a fight between freedom and slavery, legality and criminal.

He noted that Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan turned to criminals and demanded their support to intimidate the voters in exchange for freedom. According to Zurabyan, the prosecutor is doing this in Constituency N 6 where his brother Ruben Hovsepyan is nominated.

According to him, it is time to save Armenia from the criminal regime. Zurabyan says the Armenian people have a mission of democratic revolution to complete.
