Cargo Shipments Grew

Compared with January-May of the past year, the rate of cargo transportation grew by 15% over the same period this year. The National Statistical Service reports that cargo transportation by rail also increased by 8.4%, while the rate of export by rail dropped by 1.4%. instead exports and national transportations grew by 13.9% and 21.9% respectively.

In the aforementioned period, cargo transportations by land increased by 13.8%, export dropped by 0.4%.

Shipments by air grew by 28.1%, including a sharp 72.7% growth of export.

In the aforementioned period, cargo shipments increased by 23.0%, passenger transportation dropped by 3.7%.
