On August 26 a new 4.8 magnitude earthquake was reported in Amatrice, central Italy, Armenpress informed, referring to EMS. The epicenter was only 5 km from the town, at a depth of 10km. The rescuers have taken out 238 people from rubble, the spokesperson for the Civil Defense Service of Italy Immacolata Postiglione stated in a briefing in Rome. According to her, 215 people were saved by the National Fire Guard, another 23 were saved by the volunteers of the rescue service of the Alpinism Club of Italy. According to latest official data, 268 people are dead, 387 people are in hospital. Of victims, 207 died in Amatrice, RIA Novosti informed.
