Real Emigration Indices Will Be Found Out

The State Migration Service proposed to the government to find out the real rate of migration from Armenia, Gagik Yeganyan, the head of the SMS, told Lragir.am. According to him, the State Committee of Science has been assigned to study the proposal.

If everything proceeds according to the plan, field work will start in October. The findings will be available during the next six months.

Gagik Yeganyan says the study will answer all the questions. “We will have data on the basis of which everyone will draw conclusions to their taste,” he said.

At the same time, Gagik Tsarukyan informed that emigration is up from last year but avoided providing figures.
