Today morning, at 10.30, Armavia flew to Damask to bring 150 Armenian Syrian children to Armenia. According to the deputy minister of territorial administration Vache Terteryan, a task force composed of specialists from the ministries of health, the Diaspora, foreign affairs and police has been set up to coordinate these works. Terteryan says the ambassador of Syria to Armenia will meet the children at the airport with other officials.
Prime Minister Sargsyan says the flight is sponsored by Prometey Bank. This program will continue. The government is going to send two more flights to take 300 children to Armenia for the summer holidays.
