In an interview with Lragir.am, literary critic Siranush Dvoyan said there are different kinds of revolutions. One of them is the bloody revolution which Armenia has avoided since 1990. The next is the cultural revolution when creating a new culture means creating new technologies and developing them. “I think the Armenian people preferred the second one. Songs are written by people who spend nights together in the street and overcome difficulties, an eco-ship of plastic bottles is made by people who plant a tree or a bush. There can be different ways but each of them may bring about change. The important thing is to change, to become different to overcome yourself. This is not the way of a short face-to-face fight, this is a long and often disappointing way but it is very flexible and resourceful,” Siranush Dvoyan says.
