Armavia Launches Second Flight to Syria

    • Country - Thursday, 26 July 2012, 14:37

Armavia Airlines, Armenia’s national carrier, officially announced that with the assistance of Armenia’s Government and the Ministry of Diaspora, it is ready to launch the second weekly flight to and from Syria.

The Company also informed that in this case the tickets will be virtually free of charge, just as it was during the events in Lebanon years ago.

Earlier, a group of activists of Armenia’s civil initiatives held a protest Wednesday in front of Armavia’s central office in Yerevan. The demonstrators protested against Armavia’s decision to boost the price of Aleppo-Yerevan-Aleppo flights.
