German Ambassador Handed His Letters of Credence

On July 18, the minister of foreign affairs of Armenia received the newly-appointed ambassador of Germany to Armenia Rainer Morel who handed the copy of his letters of credence.

The minister noted that the Armenian and German dialogue and cooperation has been developing dynamically in the recent years and extended hope that Morel will contribute to strengthening and extending bilateral relations between both countries.

The Ambassador committed to further deepening of bilateral relations.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues relating to the political, economic, cultural and educational cooperation prospects, as well as the Eastern Partnership in the framework of the EU-Armenia cooperation. Minister Nalbandyan and Ambassador Morel discussed regional issues as well.
