If Galust Sahakyan’s Life is Attempted

In regards to the incident in Harsnakar, Head of the Republican parliamentary group Galust Sahakyan noted that the law on bodyguards will enter into force on January 13, 2013.

“There are people, bodyguards and not only, who try to create privileged conditions for them. For such cases, the law should be very rigid. We follow this path. One of the requirements of the law is that they will act in accordance with the law on the police,” he said.

In answer to the question whether the incident is Ruben Hayrapetyan’s fault, Sahakyan says that Galust Sahakyan is also to blame for such cases, just like the authorities and the public bodies.

In answer to another question what makes Ruben Hayrapetyan fear for his like to keep bodyguards, Galust Sahakyan says that there have been several attempts against his life. As to himself, Galust Sahakyan does not have bodyguards and will not have any unless his life is attempted.

Sahakyan says in this case he will leave politics.
