Compensation of Gas Bills Till Next Presidential Election

In today’s meeting the government decided to resume the policy of partial allowance for gas bills for underprivileged families between 1 April 2012 and 31 March 2013.

For underprivileged families which used up to 300 cu m gas will pay 100 drams per cu m. The gas fee is 130 drams now. The minister of labor and social affairs Arthur Grigoryan proposed to keep the gas fee low for underprivileged families till March 31.

Prime Minister Sargsyan reminded that this decision stems from Serzh Sargsyan’s task. According to him, this decision will relieve the negative social impact of the increase in gas fee for another year.
