The Head of the Human Rights International Federation (FIDH) Suhayr Bel Hasen, the responsible of the company for Middle Asia and East issues Aleksandra Kulayeva, the head of the Institute of Civil Society NGO Arman Danielyan visited the Nubarashen penitentiary institution to meet the Editor-in-Chief of the Haykakan Zhamanak daily Nikol Pashinyan who was sentenced to 7 years in prison as well as Sasha Davtyan who was justified by the Aragatsotn court of General Jurisdiction. Recall the latter was charged with violating his daughter but the court justified him and accused only of torturing her and sentenced to 4 years of imprisonment. Note that FIDH is currently in Armenia and has meetings with the Armenian governmental members. The head of the organization will present her impressions to the president after having visited the prison. Note also that Mrs. Suhayr is well-informed about the cases of Nikol Pashinyan and Sasha Davtyan.
P.S. According to our data, the delegation of the Federation met with Sasha Davtyan, but it failed to meet with Nikol Pashinyan. About the reasons we will announce additionally.
