Yesterday, Serge Sargsyan met with the delegation of the European Democratic Party headed by the leader of the party Wilfred Martens. Serge Sargsyan said that we consider ourselves Europeans and strive to live in accordance with their system of values.
Wilfred Martens stated that the three Armenian coalition parties applied to join the European Democratic Party. He informed that in the nearest future, a mission will arrive in Armenia to study their applications.
On March 3, the head of the Heritage board Armen Martirosyan and the head of party’s faction Styopa Safaryan also met with the leader of the European Democratic Party, the former prime minister of Belgium Wilfred Martens, the head of the staff Ingrid Gusens and the secretary for foreign relations Nikola Brieqe.
