The Armenian Ministry of Justice appealed to the French AXA Insurance Agency which pays compensations to the heirs of the victims of the Armenian genocide. The executive head of AXA Agency Barsegh Gartalyan said that 996 applications have been confirmed. The commission got 13 790 applications, 12 794 of which have been rejected because of the lack of relevant documents.
 
In total, the point is about 17, 5 million of dollars of compensation, 11, 350 of which is to be allocated to heirs, and the rest to benefactor organizations and for the expenses on judicial processes. The RA Ministry of Justice reports.
